Vitis team volunteer day at Wildwood Kent

Some of our team recently had a fantastic day volunteering at Wildwood Kent in Herne Bay.  Wildwood wildlife park focuses on protecting, conserving and rewilding native species and they have over 200 British animals in 40 acres of woodland.

Ros Wildey, Adam Wilkin, Izabela Hayesmore, Diane Wilkin and Charlotte Crossley helped out by weeding around the park and feeding sow thistle to rabbits Bueno and Oreo, as well as a very sleepy Beaver.

The volunteers also rolled up their sleeves and painted the fence around the Reindeer enclosure, all while enjoying the view.

After the volunteering duties, the team took a leisurely stroll through the park. They witnessed the Arctic fox puppies’ feeding time and caught glimpses of beautiful brown bears swimming in their pool, along with many other animals like red squirrels, polecats, wild boars, lynx, wolves, and deer.

Here are a few photos of the team hard at work!
